Dear BLOCKS families, 

We are asking that families who drop off their child in the car in morning make some small important changes:

• Please arrive no earlier than 8 a.m. for drop off. This way we can ensure that our staff has access to the parking lot to be available to unload our students quickly beginning at 8:05 a.m. 
• Door #6 cars should stay on the left lane and wait in line where the cone with the STOP sign is placed.  
• Idle time is limited to 5 minutes. In Massachusetts, you can't idle your vehicle for more than five minutes in school zones. This law is intended to improve air quality at schools. MA Idling law
• Doors will  close promptly at 8:15 a.m. If you arrive after 8:15 a.m. please go directly to the front door #1.  Please DO NOT drop your child off at a different door than assigned. Ring the bell at the front door and wait for staff or a teacher to get your child at the door. 
• All children should be buckled in a car seat at all times when a car is moving no matter how slowly  until they are 8 years old OR over 57 inches tall. MA Car seat law
