Delayed Opening and Early Dismissal Information

In the event that there is a school opening delay or early dismissal, you will receive a phone call and/or email from the school district and we will follow the procedure outlined below.

Delayed Opening Schedule Due to Weather or Other Emergency

When there is an emergency that requires a delayed opening for Framingham Public Schools please remember the following:

BLOCKS Preschoolers located at Juniper Hill

• Before school care for Little Explorers will be canceled
• Morning preschool classes will be canceled
• Afternoon classes will follow the regular schedule.  Buses may be delayed.
• Full day classes will start at 10:15 a.m. and dismiss at 2:15 p.m. Buses for Full day students will be adjusted for the two hour delay
• After school care will follow the  regular schedule

BLOCKS Preschoolers located at Framingham High School

• Before school care for Little Explorers will be canceled
• BLOCKS Framingham High School students will start at 11:15 a.m. and dismiss at 3:15 p.m. 

Early Dismissal Schedule Due to Weather or Other Emergency

When there is an emergency that requires an early dismissal for Framingham Public Schools please remember the following:

BLOCKS Preschoolers located at Juniper Hill

• After school care for Little Explorers will be canceled
• Afternoon preschool classes will be canceled
• All other classes will be dismissed at 11:15 for parent pick up
• If your child attends a full day program and usually goes home on a bus at 2:05, they will have to go home on the 10:50 bus. Please make sure to have an adult waiting for your child as buses may be delayed.

BLOCKS Preschoolers located at Framingham High School

• Full day students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m.
